Dr. Annelie Wünsche, European and German patent attorney, Maiwald GmbH

Annelie Wünsche is European and German patent attorney and Partner in the Life Science Team of the IP firm Maiwald. Annelie advises companies in building valuable patent portfolios in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals including biotech inventions at the interface to digitalization & AI. Annelie spent several months on secondment to a publicly listed biotechnology company. Before entering the world of patent law, she obtained a doctoral fellowship at EMBL in Heidelberg and worked at Roche and Zeiss. She co-authored a law handbook on pharmaceutical, biological and chemical patents.

Maiwald GmbH
Maiwald is a leading intellectual property law firm in Munich and Düsseldorf, Germany. With around 100 highly qualified patent attorneys, attorneys-at-law, and technical experts, they offer extensive skills and experience. Dr. Alexander Jarasch, Technical Consultant for Pharma and Life Sciences, Neo4j

Dr. Alexander Jarasch is a Technical Consultant for Pharma and Life Sciences at Neo4j, the leading graph database company. Alexander works on combining GenAI with knowledge graphs for target identification, competitive intelligence and in supply chain. With a bioinformatics background, his career spans chemistry, biotech, pharma, and IT. He specializes in machine learning and data engineering, with deep expertise in pharma. He has received numerous awards for innovative analytics techniques, like knowledge graphs, to combat diseases such as diabetes. 

Neo4j
Neo4j is the market leader in graph databases designed to store, manage, and query data structured as graphs, where entities are represented as nodes and relationships as edges.
